Candidate Real Estate Library, LLC (“CRE Library,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information collected through CRE-Library.com, its associated mobile services, member areas, courses, career groups, job boards, recruiter tools, and related services (collectively, the “Site”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices you may have regarding your information. By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

The information we collect depends on how you use the Site.

Candidate information may be made visible to recruiters, brokers, property management companies, real estate firms, and other hiring organizations according to the Site’s features and your account or membership selections.
Do not include Social Security numbers, banking information, copies of government identification, medical information, or other highly sensitive personal information in a profile, resume, group post, or job application unless it is specifically requested through a secure and appropriate process.
C. Recruiter and Employer Information
If you register as a recruiter, broker, employer, or company representative, we may collect:

5. Candidate Profiles and Recruiter Access
A primary purpose of CRE Library is to help candidates develop professional profiles and connect with recruiting organizations.
If you choose to make your profile available for recruiting, information contained in your profile may be viewed by authorized recruiters, brokers, property managers, employers, and other hiring organizations using the Site.
You are responsible for reviewing your profile and deciding what information to provide. Making a profile visible does not guarantee that it will remain confidential after an authorized third party accesses or downloads it.
Recruiters and employers are expected to use candidate information only for legitimate recruiting and employment-related purposes. However, CRE Library cannot control the conduct, data-retention practices, or independent use of information by every third party.
If you no longer want your profile visible, you may update your profile settings, remove the information, or contact us for assistance.
6. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
A. Recruiters and Employers
Candidate information may be disclosed to recruiters, brokers, employers, real estate companies, property management companies, and other hiring organizations when a candidate makes a profile available, applies for a position, joins a recruiting program, or requests an introduction.
B. Service Providers
We may disclose information to companies that assist us with:

Account administration;

Cloud storage;

Course delivery;

Payment processing;
-
Email and marketing communications;

CRE Library does not sell personal information in exchange for money.
We may use third-party analytics, social-media, or advertising technologies. Under certain state privacy laws, disclosures made through these technologies could be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for targeted advertising, even when no money is exchanged.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 18.
8. Marketing Communications
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link included in the message or by contacting us.
Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may continue sending nonpromotional communications concerning your account, transactions, course participation, security, policy changes, or support requests.

Information previously accessed or downloaded by a recruiter, employer, or other third party may remain in that party’s records even after it is removed from the Site.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no website, database, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
11. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on your state or country of residence and subject to applicable legal exceptions, you may have the right to:

Certain information may be retained when permitted or required by law, including information needed to complete transactions, maintain security, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, or establish and defend legal claims.
12. California Privacy Rights
If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to CRE Library or a particular request, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about the collection and disclosure of their personal information. They may also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.
CRE Library will honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, when required by applicable law and when detected by the Site.
These rights are subject to statutory limitations, exemptions, and verification requirements.
13. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
If we learn that personal information has been submitted by an individual under 18, we may delete the information and terminate the associated account. A parent or legal guardian who believes a minor has provided personal information should contact us at edward@cre-library.com.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, licensing schools, employers, social-media platforms, mobile application stores, payment processors, booksellers, market-data providers, and other services.
CRE Library does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or data-handling practices of third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of each third-party service before providing personal information.
15. Testimonials, Photographs, and Success Stories
We will obtain permission before intentionally using a member’s name, photograph, testimonial, or success story in promotional materials, except when the user has already posted the information publicly or submitted it for promotional use.
A person who wants previously authorized promotional content removed may contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to remove it from materials under our control, although removal from previously distributed materials or third-party websites may not always be possible.
16. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is not a single universally accepted standard for responding to all Do Not Track signals, the Site may not respond to those signals.
Where required by applicable law, we will process legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control.
17. United States Operations
CRE Library is operated in the United States, and information collected through the Site may be processed and stored in the United States.
If you access the Site from another country, your information may be transferred to a jurisdiction whose privacy laws differ from those in your location.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the Site, our services, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
